皮革削薄的種類與方法皮革削薄是指將皮革削薄的工作。將皮革削薄的話,可以抑制貼合皮革,或重疊皮革時的厚度過度增加。另外,削薄反折部分也可以提高柔軟性。皮革削薄大致上可以分成以下解說的四種。其中
將大面積統一削薄成相同厚度這種手法稱為全削,這部分的工作在購買皮革時,可以委託皮革材料店或批發商來做,因為進行全削工作需要設備,要使用專門的機器來進行,所以如果是個人要進行全削的工作會有困難。如果去皮革材料店的話,相同的皮革有販賣從1mm開始,以每0.5mm為間隔的不同厚度皮革,這是因為只有擁有專門設備的皮革材料店和批發商,才能夠準備根據事前預料的厚度而削薄好的皮革。像這樣使用專用機器,將全部皮革削薄成相同厚度的工作稱為全削。削薄的工作可以用來抑制不必要的厚度,或讓折皮革的工作變得更加容易,所以也會大大影響作品所做出來的結果和使用的感覺。工藝社因為有準備可以應付各種削薄方法的工具,所以請活用這些工具吧!
削薄的種類削薄大致上可以分成四種方法,除了全削之外的三種削薄方法,是為了要提高作品的完成度,或完成美麗的外觀,依照目的而頻繁使用的技巧。機器的窩邊、手縫的窩邊、編織的窩邊、翻邊等可以使用的地方很多。重疊皮革、縫合皮革、反折皮革的部分如果不削薄的話,就有可能會產生不必要的高低差或厚度,或是作品本身有可能會產生歪斜。為了要避免這些問題,所以需要先學會各種削薄的技巧。依照作業的目的,靈活運用技巧的話,應該可以大大提高作品所做出來的成果與品質。
